Baltic Center is a Russian studies and Russian as a foreign language learning center in Riga, Latvia. We are present in Latvia since 2015 and provide a wide range of on-site programs (online during the Covid lockdowns), that include home-stay with Russian speaking families in Riga, academic classes with university level teachers. Most of our teachers have degrees in teaching Russian as a Foreign language. We have significant experience in setting up structured peer activities for some of our programs. In partnership with Free University we offer a number of academic speakers and lecturers in different aspects of Russian studies, including International relations, sociology, history, literature, etc.. The lectures can be delivered in English.

Our partner universities are Brigham Young University, Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, Wharton Business School, etc. We have close ties and collaborate on Russian Studies component with Free University (Russian University in exile).
Baltic Center organizes in Riga various educational events, open lectures and conferences in order to bring top speakers and top experts to facilitate human capital development in the Baltic States.  Baltic Center has a proven record (through OPI tests) of strong progress of students’ language competencies in a short time. Baltic Center offers its programs round the year, starting from a few weeks to semester long programs.
